This is something that's been on my mind lately.

How would you conquer a country? I'm asking all you who visit my gallery and page and those of you who are my watchers.

Personally, I would start by spreading rumors about the local government and blackmail/bribe the local law enforcement. Wait a few days or weeks, pull off crimes secretly leaving behind evidence that points to cops or government officials. Slowly destroy the peoples hope in them, then take on a vigilante persona that they'll recieve hope from.

Put "dirty" cops and "dirty" government officials behind bars and plant loyal followers in the government and law enforement who would support my vigilante actions.

Then, destroy the peoples hope in the ruling monarchy/democracy/whatever by forging videos of them punishing innocents, stealing, raping, and generally doing unspeakable damage to their country.

Using the peoples rage and fear, I would snatch the power from the old government and remake the country in my own image. That's how I would take over a country, at least. To take over the entire, I would need an army and allies. I'll probably come up with that in my next journal.
